Ormoc Tragedies

Ormoc Tragedies

It happened last Nov. 5, 1991. I was in first year high school that time. On that day, we were very thankful because we did not have class. My mother cooked for our lunch when the water suddenly rose up. We ran to the highest location it was the Can-adieng Comm. School. We were very afraid and the people were panicking. Many people died that time. But I am very thankful that my family was safe. Every night we heard so many voices, some were crying and asking for prayers. Then we started praying for the souls of many people who died in the Ormoc flashflood.

It happened last Nov. 8, 2013; it was the biggest typhoon in the history of Samar and Leyte. The second floor of my house was really affected by Typhoon Yolanda. It was really damaged. It was the most unforgettable experience that happened to all of us.
