As a sports-loving city as influenced by its transformational leaders, building this sports complex was considered a milestone to improve the services of the city to support and nurture our local athletes and those who just simply love the art of sports. Since its establishment, it has been used to host different sports activities such as volleyball and basketball, which are in fact considered the most recognized sports in the city due to their prominence. Located in Carlos Tan St., this sports complex is just around the Ormoc City oval, where a lot of Ormocanon (and even non-Ormocanon) jog individually or in groups and do other activities related to physical fitness. This sports ground is also near the Ormoc City Regional Sports Academy, the only school in Eastern Visayas that offers a sports track. The sports complex, just like any other establishment in the city, was indeed an investment for the longevity of sports here in this beautiful city of athletic people.
